Power "Sniffer" Probe
Agilent Technologies HLD MR15 Mobile Helium Leak Detector with Wireless Remote Transmitter Unit Installed & Harsh Environment Probe
The Agilent HLD MR15 Leak Detector uses a mass spectrometer tuned to detect helium, which is used as a tracer gas to locate and/or measure very small leaks in enclosed devices or systems. This multipurpose mobile helium leak detector is both a precise instrument and a robust workhorse, featuring an easy-to-use touch screen interface and menu structure that quickly connect users to powerful leak detection capabilities. Built-in application setups shorten test cycles, and setups can be saved to assure repeatability. It is easily rolled to convenient locations on its four wheels. The MR15 includes an Agilent DS-302 Rotary Vane Pump, with a pumping of 15 m³/hour, for rapid evacuation of test parts and systems and rapid clean-up of ambient helium between test cycles.

**For Ordering Purposes: G8611A with option #102 (HLD MR15 wired for 120 VAC, with wireless remote transmitter unit factory installed) & #106 (Harsh Environmental Probe)**

  • Six different application set up guides help you correctly configure your instrument for the best performance, ensuring that parameters are properly set for a thorough and efficient test.
  • Larger, more durable, more responsive touch screen interface rotates 180º for ideal viewing
  • Cleaner, more intuitive user interface. Immediate access to often used features and a flat menu structure allows you to quickly find the setting you need.
  • Startup wizard helps the user set up the instrument on first-time power up.
  • Enhanced charting capabilities: Zoom for closer inspection of data, color-coded set points, time-based plot records leak rate and pressure.
  • A large work surface provides plenty of room for parts to be tested, tools, etc.
  • Improved power-off process keeps spectrometer under vacuum and protects the turbomolecular pump.
  • Improved maneuverability for easier to narrow service areas and chases in semiconductor fabs or other production environments.
**This item is not always in stock - lead time is typically 5 weeks ARO.

HLD Wireless Handheld Remote

Leaks in large systems often occur far from the leak detector. By utilizing modern wireless technology, leak testing hard-to-reach locations is now much easier, and can be performed at much greater distances of up to 100 meters. In addition to the visual bar graph  of the leak rate, the remote control has a speaker that provides a variable tone indicating the trend and relative size of the leak. All the major functions of the leak detector are at your fingertips, giving you a truly portable leak detection solution.

  • By utilizing current wireless technology, it significantly extends range without cumbersome, restrictive cables.
  • 100m (328 ft) range enables single operator testing.
  • Internal speaker emits variable tone that corresponds to leak rate signal.
  • Headphone jack enables testing even in noisy environments.
  • 20 channels allows use of handheld remote with multiple leak detectors.
  • 2.4 GHz frequency, ISM band compliant provides free license band with minimum crosstalk

Power "Sniffer" Probe

The Power Probe is a "Sniffer" Probe designed to locate leaks emanating from sealed containers internally pressurized with helium. The power probe adjusts for varying sensitivity and response time. It is extremely rugged and can be easily disassembled for cleaning. The probe kits includes 5 tip filters and is available with 10 or 25 feet of connecting tubing and an inlet adapter to fit on the leak detector. It is ideal for fast response with MacroTorr pumped leak detector.

Helium Spray Probe Kit

For use in spraying helium to find the exact location of a leak. Three nozzles are included: nozzle for pinpointing leaks, a flexible tubing nozzle for hard-to-reach areas, and a long, soft copper nozzle that can be bent into almost any configuration to reach into deep crevices. An easy operating spring handle and 10 feet of hose with a female fitting simplifies attachment to the helium regulator.
